The two that do the work
Everything else is in service of these.
Rosemary and rice water are the two things people have been brewing at home for years. The kitchen version works — it just separates in a week and cannot be applied evenly.

Why it is a product and not a jar
The rest of the bottle earns its place.
Nothing was added to make the formula sound more impressive. What is in there beyond the two actives is what turns a kitchen recipe into something that keeps, sprays evenly, and is safe to leave on skin.
Water based
It absorbs instead of sitting on the hair. That is also why there is no alcohol in here doing the drying-fast job.
A fine, even mist
A trigger spray, not a pump. 200 ml is about two months of daily use, on the scalp and down the lengths.
Twelve months once opened
A jar of home-brewed rosemary water is good for a few days. This is a dermatologically tested formulation that keeps for the life of the bottle.

What we left out
The list is short on purpose.
Every one of these is in a leave-in somewhere on the shelf, and every one of them is easier to justify to a chemist than to a customer.
No alcohol
It is what makes a spray dry fast and a scalp tighten. Water does the first job without the second.
No added fragrance
It smells of rosemary because there is rosemary in it. Fragrance is the most common irritant in a leave-in and it is doing nothing for your hair.
No silicone, no mineral oil
Both make hair feel smoother immediately by coating it. Neither is absorbed, and both build up on the scalp.
No sulphates, no parabens
Nothing here is meant to strip, and nothing here needs a preservative with that much history behind it. This is a leave-in — it stays on.
